Motion text

That this House expresses its deep concern that Her Majesty's Stationery Office has been downgraded and given the new title of the Office of Public Sector Information; deplores the fact that this is yet another example of the Government pointlessly attempting to change the name of a department; expresses its disquiet at the wiping out of the UK's historic ties with royal institutions as has previously happened with the Prison Service, Northern Ireland's Police Service and Consignia; and calls upon the Government to re-establish the royal connection to Her Majesty's Stationery Office.
