Motion text

That this House recognises the immense contribution made by veterans from all conflicts to the freedom enjoyed by those who live in all parts of the United Kingdom; commends the Royal British Legion for their efforts in assisting many of those injured and bereaved in such conflicts; and looks forward to Veterans Awareness Week in July, expressing the hope that it will be celebrated widely with the appropriate acknowledgement from Her Majesty's Government.
