Motion text

That this House welcomes the recent signing of the peace agreements by the Government of the People's Republic of Angola and UNITA; congratulates both President Eduardo dos Santos and Dr Jonas Savimbi; calls upon both sides to respect the agreements signed in Portugal; and urges Her Majesty's Government to offer full assistance in monitoring the peace process and in safeguarding the integrity of the elections to be held in the Autumn of 1992.
