Motion text

That this House congratulates former England footballer Geoff Thomas on completing his 2,200-mile cycling challenge around the Tour de France circuit in just 21 days, raising over £122,000 as well as increasing awareness of the work of Leukaemia Research; and notes that this achievement is all the more remarkable given that he himself has only been in remission from chronic myeloid leukaemia since Christmas 2004.
