Motion text

That this House is surprised that England fans have only been allocated eight per cent. of tickets for matches at the 2006 Football World Cup in Germany; believes that this will lead to a large excess demand; is concerned that this might have security implications and lead to tickets being sold on the black market; recognises that this might have an impact upon the atmosphere in matches; and therefore asks the Government to work with other interested parties to do everything possible to convince FIFA to look again at ticket allocations to ensure that these concerns are properly discussed and, where appropriate, addressed.
