Motion text

That this House supports the Animal Welfare Act [2006] and the benefits it will bring; recognises that much of the important detail will follow in the form of regulations and codes of practice; and calls upon the Government to ensure that Parliament will have the opportunity to scrutinise the proposed draft regulations and codes of practice prior to their commencement.
