Motion text

That this House is concerned that the Department for Transport will renege on its commitment to implement disability regulations under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 for all taxis across the UK and so fails to recognise the vital role taxis play in the transportation of disabled passengers; and notes that this is of particular concern to RADAR, a national network of disability organisations of and for disabled people, as a failure to produce regulations will have a significant and deleterious effect on transport improvements for disabled people across the UK.
