That this House notes that four out of 10 households in the United Kingdom now face paying inheritance tax; further notes that rising property prices mean that millions of hardworking families are affected; further notes that inheritance tax causes distress and financial hardship at a time of bereavement; recognises that the Daily Express newspaper is continuing its crusade to scrap inheritance tax; supports the Express's crusade; and calls on the Chancellor to abolish inheritance tax.
