Motion text

That this House believes that pigeon fancying should be classified as a sport and is comparable to other animal-based sports such as horse riding; further believes that it is both wrong and fundamentally unfair that pigeon racing clubs have lost their tax rebate whilst sports of a similar status retain theirs; and calls upon the Government to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
