Motion text

That this House congratulates the Government on its announcement on the extension of the Financial Assistance Scheme, providing the just and final settlement for 140,000 people who lost their savings when their employers' pension schemes collapsed; and calls on all parties to co-operate to establish an effective mechanism as quickly as possible to get the money to the pensioners as soon as possible.
