Motion text

That this House notes that managers and professionals in BT, represented by the trade union Connect, are taking industrial action following a membership vote in response to the company's unacceptable pay offer; calls on BT to return to negotiations and to settle the dispute with an offer on pay which is fair and respects the enormous contribution of all employees to its success; and further calls on BT to address the concerns of Connect members in their revised pay offer, including a long-term resolution of the equal pay issue in BT.
