That this House recognises that 53.4 per cent. of Irish voters said no to the Lisbon Treaty; notes with concern President Sarkozy's recent comments that he plans to make Ireland vote again; remembers that when French and Dutch voters rejected the EU Constitutional Treaty there was no second referendum; and calls on the Government to support the Irish electorate to ensure that the Lisbon Treaty cannot now be ratified and that it is, rightly, abandoned.
