That this House praises the soldiers of the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment for their courageous effort in Iraq and Afghanistan and the commitment they give to their country; mourns the passing of Private John Brackpool who tragically lost his life in Helmand province on 9 July; acknowledges the Regiment for its commendable march through both the town of Romsey and the City of Southampton on Tuesday 14 July 2009; and congratulates the people of Hampshire for their continuing support for the Regiment.
