Motion text

That this House in the year of the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War salutes the courage of all those who fought against the communist-backed forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea; recognises in particular the sacrificial deaths and injuries of Her Majesty's brave armed forces and those of Commonwealth and United Nations allies; and calls on the Government to ensure that an appropriate national commemoration, fully involving British Korean veterans, be held in memory of all those who gave so much in the cause of freedom and liberty.
