Motion text

That this House commends the Institution of Mechanical Engineers' manifesto for UK engineering; recognises that engineering is integral to the UK's national economy and environment; urges the Government to take note of the proposals in the manifesto; and calls on the Government to put a regenerated UK manufacturing sector at the heart of its agenda.
