Motion text

That this House notes with concern the proposal by Camelot to use its state-protected monopoly infrastructure to provide bill payment services and mobile top-ups at retail outlets, which will threaten post office and local shop revenue streams; and calls on the Government to reject any attempts to allow payment for essential services to be made through gambling terminals, as doing so will further expose the most vulnerable sections of society to the temptation to gamble with money they cannot afford to lose.

These members had previously signed the motion, but have now withdrawn their support. The date shown is when the Member withdrew their signature from the motion.
