That this House notes that on Wednesday 22nd January, by a majority of 224 to 4, this House expressed a clear wish for the Government to bring forward early legislation to achieve sensible reform of Sunday trading based on the R.E.S.T. proposals; further notes that a large number of honourable and Right honourable Members have signed Early Day Motion 291 which calls on the Prime Minister to make an immediate announcement that the Government will act forthwith on both requests.
