Motion text

That this House recognises the important role of the UK Youth Parliament and British Youth Council in giving a voice to young people in the policy-making process; expresses deep concern that the Government has made significant changes toa number of schemes, including, but not limited to, Playbuilder, Building Schools for the Future, Youth Opportunity Fund and Child Trust funds, without seeking the views of young people; and calls on the Government toengage fully with representatives of young people in future onmatters which directly affect them.
