Motion text

That this House recognises the risks taken and the sacrifice made by all members serving in UK armed forces overseas and the commitment to duty of those based at home; and further recognises the need to encourage public supportfor the dedication and bravery shown by those serving in Afghanistan and Iraq and to use every opportunity available to the House to raise public awareness and appreciation towards those serving their Queen and country.
