Motion text
That this House notes with concern the publication of a guide on how to fight the police by Manchester Earth First; regrets that the publication offers advice on how to bring down police horses; further regrets that the publication also advises protestors on how to form a Blakelock sandwich by surrounding police and suggest that the police are jumpy about this tactic being deployed; believes that this is a reference to the murder of PC Keith Blakelock at the Broadwater Farm riots in 1985; further believes that this document is wholly irresponsible and offensive especially during a period of student unrest; and calls on the police to investigate.
