Motion text

That this House congratulates the young people who authored `State of Mind - Young Londoners' Manifesto for Mental Health'; notes that three children in every classroom have a diagnosable mental health condition; further notes that over 330,000 children in London live in overcrowded accommodation placing severe pressures on their wellbeing and mental health; supports the aims of `State of Mind' in giving young people a chance to shape mental health and wellbeing services that affect them; urges all London Mayoral candidates to include a section on young people's mental health and wellbeing as called for by the children's and young people's mental health charity, YoungMinds; and calls on the Mayor of London, London's health service providers and commissioners to implement the aims of `State of Mind' in improving young people's mental health and wellbeing.
