Motion text
That this House congratulates the work of Wide Minds, or WiMi, a network that acts as a forum for innovation and best practice in digital learning; notes that WiMi has a presence in 14 countries across Europe, including over 50 schools in Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire; recognises the growing importance of digital learning for educational professionals, and welcomes the training and resources provided by WiMi to develop e-Learning and multilingualism; further notes that the work done by WiMi has allowed many children in Mid Wales to take part in exciting international projects, as well as allowing their teachers to share information and best practice; and calls on the Government to support innovative projects such as this both domestically and through the EU.
