That this House congratulates the Community Foundation in Wales on the first anniversary of its fund for Wales, a unique endowment fund established by the Foundation to promote giving and provide a long-term source of funding for charities and community groups; notes that in its first year, the Foundation has achieved the patronage of HRH The Prince of Wales and lead gifts of 270,000 from individuals and businesses who have shown their love for Wales by donating to this sustainable fund; applauds the efforts of our national community foundation to achieve much-needed investment in the community and voluntary sector; and calls on this House to support the Foundation in its work.
