at end add `; however, considers that as the BBC is owned by the people, licence fee payers should be able to elect the BBC Trust and have some say on who the next Director General is; and believes that this would reconnect BBC programming with what people genuinely want to see, for example, more live coverage of Formula One racing.'.

That this House welcomes the final review of the BBC on Delivering Quality First, including its proposals to maintain daytime local radio and local sports programming.
