leave out from `notes' to end and add `that the Gaza Strip shares borders with both Israel and Egypt; further notes that the Rafah Crossing between Egypt and Gaza is intermittently closed by Egyptian authorities due to security concerns; further notes that Egypt is also making extensive efforts to curb weapons transfers through smuggling tunnels along its border with Gaza; further notes that Israel retains a humanitarian commitment to the Gaza Strip despite continued and repeated rocket fire into Israel; and further notes that over 9,000 Gaza residents received emergency healthcare in Israel during 2011.'.

Original motion text

That this House notes with concern that Israel's illegal blockade of the Gaza Strip has now entered its sixth year; recognises the findings of the UN report Gaza in 2020 A Liveable Place? stating that urgent action is required to alleviate the humanitarian suffering in Gaza; and calls on Israel to immediately end the siege that it has imposed on 1.6 million people.
