That this House congratulates The Bridges Programmes, based in Glasgow North East, on its 10th anniversary; notes that it supports the social, educational and economic integration of refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, and anyone for whom English is a second language; and notes that it is recognised as an example of best practice in Scotland, the UK and Europe, and works with over 100 employers and partners, for example, the Dundee International Women's Centre, to ensure that new Scots have the best possible support to help them re-engage with their skills, by providing training and work placements to reach their potential and transition to a new fulfilled and sustainable life.
