Motion text

That this House notes the well-established tradition that Hen Wlad fy Nhadau is the national anthem of Welsh sports teams and competitors; recognises the important role the anthem plays in uniting the Welsh nation, bringing Welsh and non-Welsh speaking citizens together; is concerned about a campaign to initiate another over-arching anthem to all international matches; and expresses hope that Welsh sports teams and competitors will continue to sing Hen Wlad fy Nhadau as the national anthem.
