Motion text

That this House welcomes the initiative by local Dunfermline historian, Sheila Pitcairn, in highlighting the importance of the seven Scottish kings, two queens and three princes interned within Dunfermline Abbey; calls on Historic Scotland to recognise the true potential of Dunfermline as a must-see heritage hotspot and as the home of great Scots and encourages them to develop a specific business plans for Scotland's ancient capital to enhance our tourist offer and mark our unique and significant in Scotland's history, culture and heritage.
