That this house congratulates CREATE, Cumnock and Doon Valley Area, for obtaining a £3,595 grant from Celebrate; recognises the valuable work the group carrys out to promote arts activities and events in the local area; acknowledges the benefits that the group will bring by using the funding to hold a Christmas celebration event, promoting community spirit; notes that the Big Lottery Fund is a huge help to many small community organisations; and commends the Big Lottery Fund for its role in supporting smaller groups organise projects to improve their local community.
