That this House notes the publication of the QS World Rankings of Universities; understands that the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), based in Glasgow Central constituency, is ranked among the top three performing arts institutions in the world; further understands that the RCS has trained some of the most famous actors and musicians in the world, including Alan Cumming, Sheena Easton, Ian McDiarmid, Robert Carlyle and David Tennant; believes that the RCS has made a substantial contribution to the arts and culture, in Scotland and across the world; and congratulates the RCS on its achievement and wishes them every success for the future.
