That this House congratulates Chris Green on being awarded an OBE for services to equality in the Queen's honours list; notes that Chris set up White Ribbon UK in 2004, recognising the positive role that men can play in ending violence against women; understands that from 2005 to 2008 Chris was a member of the Council of Europe Task Force to Combat Violence Against Women, and a member of the World Health Organisation's Violence Prevention Alliance; and acknowledges that Chris is still active in the campaign against domestic violence and violence against women and girls, serving on the board for White Ribbon Scotland as well as being a director for White Ribbon UK.
