That this House recognises Strathaven man David McAllistair on being awarded a MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List; further recognises the significant impact he has made to help the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA); congratulates the work of the Lanarkshire branch of SSAFA and notes that Mr McAllistair was Chairman of the SSAFA Scottish Resources Committee; and applauds SSAFA on being able to offer a wide range of practical, emotional and financial support to the military and its families.
