SOUTH LANARKSHIRE CARERS NETWORK LIMITED

That this House congratulates South Lanarkshire Carers Network Limited on securing £9,978 from the Big Lottery Fund's Award for All Scotland grant; acknowledges the work this group has undertaken to provide a voice for unpaid carers in South Lanarkshire; celebrates the group’s endeavours to identify unpaid carers, develop and maintain a network for those carers, encourage unpaid carers to participate in a variety of consultation processes, identify gaps in service provision and contribute to the development of partnerships working to improve services affecting unpaid carers; and commends the group on using its grant to support the delivery of three information fairs in Hamilton, Clydesdale and Rutherglen, Cambuslang and to replace its old website with a more modern functional one.
