HELP YOURSELF GROW PROJECT

That this House commends the organisation Fair Deal and the Help Yourself Grow project for the excellent work they do in offering fun, practical training to young people with learning disabilities; notes that this project based in Castlemilk, is in its first year and has provided training in cooking and gardening; congratulates those who recently graduated from the project in June 2017; further notes the project has been funded for a five year period, with 40 young people starting each year; and thanks all of the volunteers who have ensured the service goes from strength to strength in the local community and offers its full support to their continued future.
