CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF BADENOCH AND STRATHSPEY'S COMMUNITY CAR SCHEME

That this House congratulates the Badenoch and Strathspey Community Transport Company on 20 years of the Community Car Scheme, recognising the important and vital work of its volunteer drivers, telephonists and all those involved in providing 6000 journeys a year for 1550 clients; notes the importance of its core message of a community free of social exclusion, and that all those living in Badenoch and Strathspey have affordable access to the services they require; and supports the desire to maintain transport links for people living in rural areas.
