Motion text
That this House welcomes the declarations of the Housing Minister made on 1 February 2017 and the proposals and intentions of the Housing White Paper to stamp out unfair, unjust and unacceptable abuse of the leasehold system; believes that commonhold is fairer and better; understands the need for greater transparency and fairness; commits to work with all interested parties to improve leaseholders' experience of home ownership; and calls on the Government and other agencies to make the Minister's words come to fruition.
