Motion text
That this House notes that having superfast broadband is an important service in the UK, especially as more and more people choose to work remotely; is concerned about current superfast broadband coverage throughout the country, especially in rural areas which would benefit the most from superfast broadband connectivity; and supports a change in the planning law to ensure that all new builds have superfast broadband as standard, to prevent poor connectivity in the first place as well as to avoid expensive and disruptive works in the future.
