Motion text
That this House notes the role of National Federation of Fishermen's Organisations in representing the fishing industry in England, Wales and Northern Ireland; supports their Fair Fishing campaign that aims to revive coastal communities and build the fishing industry for future generations; acknowledges their members' commitment to sustainability; and calls on the Government to ensure that fisheries policy is determined by the relevant UK parliaments, that it is not subject to a trade-off in the negotiations on the UK's exit from the European Union, and that a fairer quota system is implemented after the UK has left the EU.
