Motion text
That this House celebrates the importance of independent tennis clubs for their contribution to community life, fitness and in their role in developing tennis stars of the future; expresses its great concern that one of the country's oldest tennis clubs, Badgers in Brighton, faces imminent closure as a result of its lease expiring; calls on the landlords who also own Kamsons, which with 41 branches in Sussex alone is the largest independent chain of pharmacies in the South of England, to respond positively to the club's many approaches and grant it a new lease.
