Motion text
That this House expresses concern that Farm Fatalities are at a 6 year high in Northern Ireland; calls upon the Ulster Farmers Union and National Farmers Union and governmental bodies to work in closer cooperation to raise awareness of dangers on the farm and precautions and safeguards that can be taken; underlines the message to be careful, stop and think and don’t rush into things; and expresses deep and sincere sympathy to every family who will be looking at any empty chair around the Christmas dinner table this year.
