Motion text
That this House commends the efforts of Friends of Inchyra Park in Grangemouth, an action group that aspire to improve the community’s wellbeing and civic pride through its usage; recognises the recent orchard planting as a first step in the park’s rejuvenation that will serve as a place of recreation and information for people from the locality and beyond for many years to come; further recognises that the revival of this community space will highlight and showcase its heritage as Scotland’s former central airport and RAF Grangemouth in World War II, as well as pay tribute to the 80 trainee fighter pilots who sadly lost their lives there; and extends its best wishes for the group’s future success.
