Motion text
That this House congratulates Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) on securing £2,424 of postcode lottery funding for their pilot generations project; notes that the project will bring nursery children into care homes to take part in music making alongside care home residents; further notes that the project is being introduced in Murrayfield House Care Home and will be rolled out across the country by RSNO if it is successful; recognises that the project promotes strong community links and values and is beneficial to both care home residents and children; further recognises that the project will develop skills and confidence in children while also creating positive interactions between the two generations; and would like to extend their best wishes to all who are involved with the project in the hope that it will benefit many more people around the country in the near future.
