That this House supports Endometriosis Awareness Month 2019; notes that this is a campaign raising awareness of a condition that affects 1 in 10 women from puberty to menopause yet the cause of which is not yet known; congratulates Endometriosis UK and their supporters for the various activities raising awareness of the condition during March 2019 and beyond; recognises the widely positive impact that including Menstrual Wellbeing in the new Sex and Relationship Curriculum will have; recognises the importance of raising awareness of endometriosis in the House to reduce the alarming diagnosis time of, on average, seven and a half years, for the condition; and urges the Government to help improve awareness, diagnosis and research of endometriosis.
