Motion text
That this House recognises the extensive work of Philip Connolly in tirelessly campaigning for the rights and wellbeing of disabled people in the UK; acknowledges that Mr Connolly sets a strong and passionate example for current and future activists to follow; notes the successes that Mr Connolly and his colleagues have had through the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Disability in shaping government policy; celebrates Mr Connolly's contribution to shared society; further notes that disabled people everywhere will lose one of their most competent and forthright advocates upon Mr Connolly moving on from Disability Rights UK; and commends his career in the hope of inspiring the next generation of activists to tackle society's most pressing issues.
