CONGRATULATING WALES ON WINNING THE 2019 SIX NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP AND GRAND SLAM

Motion text

That this House congratulates the Wales Rugby Union Men's senior team on winning the Six Nations Championship, achieving a Grand Slam, a record fourth straight test victory, and lifting Wales to a record high of second in the World Rugby rankings; notes this achievement was built by the management, players and support staff as well as many others, further congratulates the Head Coach Warren Gatland on becoming the first coach to win 3 Grand Slams in the Five or Six Nations; and wishes the Welsh Rugby Union, Irish Rugby Football Union, Scottish Rugby Union and Rugby Football Union Men's senior teams the very best of luck at the World Cup in Japan in September 2019.
