That this House congratulates 14 year-old Jessica Mitchell of the High School of Glasgow on winning the prestigious Springboard Future Chef competition at the UK finals in London; commends Jessica and the eleven other aspiring young chefs who took part in the final as well as the 14,351 young people who entered the initial stages of the competition; recognises the contributions of both Jav Aziz, Executive Chef at lbrox Stadium, on his mentoring of Jessica throughout all stages of the Future Chef competition, and Jessica's teacher, Catherine Elsby who has supported and encouraged her talent; notes that the judges declared the cooking skills on display the most impressive in the history of the competition; and recognises that Jessica's high level of skill and professionalism led to her well-deserved victory.
