That this House congratulates Anstruther and District Bowling Club on its 125th anniversary; notes that the opening ceremony was performed by the hon. Member Henry Torrens Anstruther and his wife, Eva, after Provost Anderson threw the first jack and Mrs Anstruther the first two balls, officially opening the green; recognises that the Club was created thanks to a great deal of goodwill and hardwork by all those involved and has continued to benefit and bring the local community together; and notes that the Club intends to mark the opening of its 125th season on Saturday, 13 April with an event replicating the significant opening ceremony.
