Motion text

This House utterly and totally condemns the heinous attacks on Christians at prayer on their most holy day in Sri Lanka; supports the Sri Lankan Government in its attempts to catch those responsible; urges the UK Government to lend all the support that it can to Sri Lanka in trying to apprehend the perpetrators; stands with those killed and injured on Sunday and their families in support of their right to freedom of religion; and calls on people of all religions to stand together against violence and persecution.
