That this House notes the tremendous work carried out by the medical research partnership between Queens University Belfast and University of Cambridge along with Almac Diagnostic Services which has resulted in a test which could radically improve the lives of people with oesophageal cancer; recognises the work that means that the new test could enable clinicians to select the most effective chemotherapy for early stage oesophageal cancer; congratulates the whole team for the painstaking work that will vastly improve quality of life; and thanks them for their dedication towards these breakthroughs that are breaking the bonds of cancer one by one.
