Motion text
That this House congratulates the Isle of Raasay Distillery on their recent Gold Laurel award for 'creating a unique visitor experience' at the Scottish hotel awards night; acknowledges the enormous achievement of winning such an award within their first year of opening; pays tribute to the hard working staff that have made such an achievement possible; recognises the wider benefits that the establishment of the distillery has provided to the fragile local economy of the Isle of Raasay; and wishes owners and employees continued success to the benefit of all in the wider community.
